Utah DUI Survival Guide
The 10-day DLD clock, the two tracks, and what not to do at the window.
Utah runs two cases from one DUI arrest. The court case is the one everyone knows about. The license case at the Driver License Division is the one people miss, and it has its own deadline: 10 calendar days from the day the officer gives you the notice, which for most people is the night of the arrest. This guide is the map of both cases, from the traffic stop through sentencing and what comes after.
Utah's per se limit is .05 (Utah Code § 41-6a-502). A lot of what you will read online assumes .08. This guide is written for Utah.
